Joe 12/01/01

Well, Joe has been in the hospital for a little over a week now for dehydration. He has completed his radiation treatments finally. BUt, he has to skip the last chemo due to the complications it caused. He has lost alot of weight and is in need of someone's help nonstop. The hospital has treated him well, but I know he is anxious to come home. My sister and the girls are really excited to have their dad back, though recovery is still a long road ahead. I know all too well that the "wait" to find out whether there was response to the treatments can be terrifying and stressful all the same. It is something I would wish on no one as it takes up 99% of your thoughts and worries you so much. I pray for them that the outcome will be a good one. THough it may be a couple months before it is done. Radiation can cause a false reading in scans as your body is healing.
